Michael Meltzer - Film Producer

Michael Meltzer is an established Hollywood producer. He has produced over a dozen feature films working within the Hollywood Studio system and in the independent production world. A few of his film credits include the youth comedy "UP THE CREEK," the science fiction classic "THE HIDDEN," STEPHEN KING'S "SOMETIMES THEY COME BACK AGAIN"... starring Hillary Swank.

Meltzer has a diverse creative background, having produced horror genre, dramas, comedies, science fiction and musicals. He has worked with actors Barbra Striesand, Hillary Swank, Treat Williams, Eric Roberts, Theresa Russell, and Dolly Parton to mention a few.

His development experience is extensive having created screenplays with some of Hollywood's most successful writers from the academy award winning including writer Ron Bass, Academy Award nominated writer Dan Petrie Jr, National Treasure writer Jim Kouf, and David Goyer among others.

Early in his career Meltzer worked at ICM and William Morris talent agencies.

Students can choose the following options:
1. Take their treatment to screenplay under Meltzer's supervision.
2. Existing screenplays evaluated and rewrite supervised by Meltzer

In addition to internet, students will have the opportunity to have one on one phone sessions to further help them develop their projects.
